In any field, it is important to remember and feel like you are not alone, especially when you are trying something new because it is a daunting experience. In January 2017, a collective group of web designers in Oklahoma City relaunched the user group Refresh OKC under the Techlahoma umbrella.

We were looking for something simple with a icon using bright and fresh colors. We had tried incorporating a green and a dark blue but it didn’t fit the fresh image we were wanting. The final bright blue went well with a the dark blue-green refresh icon that you typically see in a web browser.
