About
A web studio you can drive to
Ricks Concepts is Rick, an Oklahoma City web designer who has been building sites here since 2014. Every project is handled by the same person from the first call to the site going live, and every year after that.
No account manager, no ticket queue, no hand-off to someone you have never spoken to.

The owner
Meet Rick
Hi, I’m Rick Shaw, the owner and web designer behind Ricks Concepts.
As a U.S. Navy veteran and Oklahoma City–based business owner, I believe in clear communication, dependable service, and doing things the right way. I work directly with each client to understand their organization, goals, and audience before developing a solution. That personal approach means you aren’t passed between departments or left wondering who to contact. You work directly with me throughout the process.
Ricks Concepts specializes in creating and maintaining professional WordPress websites that are attractive, user-friendly, and built around the client’s real-world needs. Whether you need a new website, a redesign, managed hosting, ongoing maintenance, or technical support, my goal is to make the process approachable and provide solutions that continue working long after launch.
I don’t believe a website should simply look good. It should clearly communicate who you are, support your goals, and make it easier for people to connect with your business or organization. At Ricks Concepts, you receive thoughtful design, honest guidance, and a long-term partner who cares about the success of your online presence.

Where we actually are
Most studios hand you a site built on rented parts: a premium theme, a page builder, a stack of plugins that all renew annually. When one license lapses something quietly breaks, and you find out from a customer.
We build on plain WordPress instead. Nothing to renew, nothing to expire, and nothing between you and your own content. It costs less to run, and it still works three years later.
When something does need attention, you send an email and Rick answers it.
